Afromium is free to use. This page explains, in plain terms, how the site makes money and why that never changes what we recommend.
Affiliate links
Some links on Afromium are affiliate links. If you click one and then open an account or make a transfer with that provider, the provider may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra — you pay the same fees and get the same rate as anyone arriving directly.
Links that can earn us a commission are marked on the page where they appear, typically next to the “Check rate” or “Sign up” button, or in a notice at the top of the page.
What affiliate relationships do not affect
- Rankings. Providers are ranked by how much your recipient receives. A provider that pays us more does not rank higher. A provider that pays us nothing is not ranked lower. Our methodology explains the rules.
- Review conclusions. We report what providers actually quote, including when the answer is unflattering to a provider that pays us.
- Which providers appear. We include the providers that serve a corridor, whether or not we have a relationship with them.
Advertising
Some pages carry display advertising served by third-party networks. Advertisers do not choose which pages their ads appear on, and they have no influence over our content.
What we don’t do
- We don’t accept payment for a review, a score, or a placement.
- We don’t publish sponsored content presented as editorial.
- We don’t share your personal data with affiliate providers. When you click a link, the provider’s own site takes over — see our privacy notice.
